Get into Claude

1. Go to claude.ai.
2. Click Sign up — use your Google account or any email address.
3. Verify your phone number when it asks (one text message — do this at home, not in the room).
4. That's it. The free plan is all you need for this workshop.

1. Go to claude.ai and click Log in.
2. Try "Continue with Google" first — most people signed up that way and it just works.
3. Otherwise enter the email you most likely used; Claude emails you a login link — no password to remember.
4. Not sure it worked? If you can type a message to Claude and get an answer, you're in.

If claude.ai says the email has no account, you never finished signing up — just sign up fresh. Nothing is lost, because nothing existed.

• Browser (use this for the workshop): type claude.ai in the address bar. Bookmark it now.
• Desktop app (optional, later): claude.ai/download — same Claude, its own window.
• Phone (optional): search "Claude by Anthropic" in the App Store / Play Store.

They're all the same account and the same conversations. The browser is enough.

Everything this workshop uses: chat, connectors (that's how you'll reach the comp assistant), and custom skills. The free plan limits how much you can do per 5-hour window, not what you can do. If you fall in love and hit the ceiling, the Pro plan ($20/mo) is about 5× the headroom and upgrades take effect instantly under Settings → Billing.
